And NPR is always on since the really great music radio station ceased their really great format. This American Life is on, and "Act 1" is finishing, something about some guy's unemployed parents. The next story starts off about that Texas school that half of which cheered for the other team who were juvenile offenders, and it pulled some strings in my alcohol sodden, cobweb filled brain. Then Trisha came on, and I went AHA! So I sat in the Supermarket parking lot, and listened to almost the whole thing. When I got home, I searched here, and found it was
indeed true.
As to my thoughts of the piece, I liked the coach better when I knew less about him. I had to quit listening soon after he got to the Hitler part. I just found him kind of the stereotypical "don't confuse me with logic or facts" evangelical Christian. I mean, really, Hitler did what he did because he was a "follower of Darwin?" It just solidified my own agnosticism.
Anyhow, congratulations TrishaLynn! You're famous now, or are even more famous than you were.
