On the road again so stay off the streets![More:] (At least if you live in Fort Worth.)

My son's car, the one he crashed last month, is fixed up and drivable again.

To review, he rear-ended an SUV:

By yesterday morning, I had repaired the mechanical bits (new radiator and stuff)

And by last night I got the body put back together, more or less

I'm hoping the minty-green hood will serve as a reminder not to get into another accident.

Looks good! I love the idea of replacement parts in progressively less desirable colors serving as a deterrent.

Nice fit on the new parts. Good work :)

Invoking the book title of Jack Kerouac is a bad thing if you want this to turn out best according to your expectations.

Nice work though!

Good job, Doohickie!

I thought of Willie Nelson, eekacat. I don't know that he's any better than Kerouac.

Heh.

Unfortunately, he actually likes the ghetto-kewl of a multi-colored car. One of his friends, who drives a pristine used Volvo, thought the repair job was awesome.

Damn.
