You got 16 points for correctly putting UNC in the championship game. Nobody else got those points (not even kyleg). Getting points in the Final Four is almost always the deciding factor in these pools because of the weighted rounds. Usually getting the champion correct is a prerequisite for winning, but wasn't in this case because it was a small pool (alternately b/c we all suck).

Those 16 points are worth the equivalent of getting 16 first round games (or 8 second round) correct that everybody else got wrong. Picking the correct champion will net you 63 points over the course of the tourney, about 2/3rds of the kyle's winning score.

Yeah, it was pure dumb luck that I had enough points to win. Congrats to danf for getting it right, and to everyone else: good luck next year!
