The policy has inadvertantly caused so much trauma to so many. Young boys are being kidnapped because of the desire for them and then on the flip side, full grown women are being kidnapped for wives because so many girl children are murdered at birth in hopes for a male heir. It's unbelievable to me to see the consequences so far spread.
Compound that with the sale of babies abroad from other nations from childless couples hoping to legally adopt and in many areas horrific living conditions that cause high infant mortality rates. What a nightmare. I hope humanity can one day sort itself out James.
