A couple of weeks ago, I was discussing with my 13-year old step daughter how rather inane something or other was that her generation just recently requisitioned from the 1980s (it was leg warmers or something like the goth genre) … when I stopped and unto me comith a sudden epiphany. Nothing could be more idiotic than we, mythical children of the 1980s who did invent the most bizarre crap the world has ever seen - and shall ever see hence. If the Wii generation wants to appropriate something from the 1980s for fun, spectacle and satire, then by all means we who came before and crapped should be grateful for it.

This video reminds me of that epiphany.
