So, uh, Spring, eh? When I woke up this morning it was raining. Within the hour, it turned into snow.[More:]We've wound up with probably 4-5" in the backyard, although it finally seems to have stopped.

This is the first time my dog has seen a significant amount of snow. Flurries, yes. Sleet, yes. Real snow? Nope. She's had a blast.

Oklahoma weather in Spring. Who'd've thunk?
It was 14 and sunny here the past two days... perfect spring biking weather.

(Sorry, I guess that's about 60 F.)

Had a foot and a half here in Golden, Colorado Thursday into Friday morning. No UPS, no mail, no garbage pick-up. We had wind with the storm so it was really blizzadish. Most of the snow is gone now between yesterday afternoon and today's sun. Definitely spring here in Colorado. Coupla weeks ago it was in the 70's, and it'll be 70 again soon.

Here in central Kansas we had about a half-foot of snow overnight, then a lot of very windy sleeting this morning, but the sun came out by mid-afternoon. I'm sooo ready for Spring to come back to stay!

It snowed here all morning, which is still better than volcanic ash (Mt. Redoubt erupted again this afternoon, still haven't seen ash in Anchorage but my mother said that everything has a small layer of grey on it in Homer). Now the sun is out and roofs are dripping. About 35 degrees, so warm.

Now the ash is falling from this afternoon's volcanic eruption. So glad I vacuumed today.

Yeah, it's hard to keep anything clean when ash is falling, I remember that from Mt St Helens.

It was crazy here yesterday. We had big old flakes just whirling round, and then SURPRISE SUNSHINE! then back to snow flurries and freezing wind.

It made for some interesting driving.

Oh, man. My sympathies with y'all on the ash. I remember what half of my family went through with Mt. St. Helen. Be safe.

Everything smells like sulfur and is covered in a grey film.

The weather guys keep threatening us with snow, but it hasn't happened yet.

It's been raining like a mofo here. We hid inside all day.

50's, gray and rainy here. Which is what spring looks like to me.

The weather guys lose again - it's sunny today. Are they on meth or what?
