I'm lovin' the Prince love around here today. But I hate that Warner Bros. has done such a good job of scrubbing YouTube free of all of his videos.→[More:]
For some reason, they're available on Spike.com. Yeah, because that audience was SO into Prince back in the day.

Whatever. And yeah I know he's a religious nut now yadda yadda, but the songs will never stop being awesome.

Just watched BoPo's last link there.
I know that was the end song and all, but WOW, that skinny little man works his butt off. Lessons learned from the late great James Brown, obviously, but whoa. Good gawd, y'all. Hep me!

That is one little, tiny (my height is 5'4" [wow, he's only 5'2"]), sexy mofo.

Man o man, just watch the band. They're all smiling or otherwise really into it. After probably at least a hard one-hour set, that was effing amazing.

In 1985 or so I was having a discussion with Bro#3 and his girlfriend's 12 year-old daughter. I said Prince would be around and/or remembered in 1999 while no one would remember the singer/band she mentioned. My brother agreed with me. She scoffed. Every time I remember conversation that I chuckle a bit.
