Looking for a late-'70s/early-'80s children's sex-ed book →[More:]

I am writing this with a cat on one arm, plus my computer's H key doesn't always work, so please bear with me.

I learned the nuts + bolts of sex by looking it up in the card catalogue at the Halifax Public Library around grade one. (I was a bookish child.) This was no earlier than 1980 and no later than 1982.

I have a visual of the book I read: it was illustrated in a comicky style, with bright colours -- a style definitely of its time. The illustration of The Act was of two square, box-like robots/machines; one had a hose of some sort extending into the other.

Now I've got this idea that it would be funny to see this book... but I've had no luck on Amazon or the library's online catalogue (well, none with a cover picture, anyway). What are the chances they'd stock a 30-year-old sex-ed book anyway?

If anyone has knowledge of the genre or likes a challenge, I'd be grateful for any leads! Even just knowing someone else remembers it would be fantastic!
