My photo is not based exactly on a particular passage from a favorite book, but rather on the general, popular interpretation of the Biblical tale of the birth of Jesus. Here are my three Wise Men visiting the child in the manger:

Yeah, I know. I completely lame out when it comes to taking themed pictures. I meant to do this - I really did - but, well, yeah, the dog ate it and I fell asleep and I missed the bus and my mom threw it away by mistake and I was absent that day.

In November 2000 I got my hard-working Canon GL1 camcorder. I wanted to film something but had no script so I grabbed some family members and headed for a local park between Chistmas and New Year's where we shot Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken". It was the first video I ever made.

Sadly, through stupidity or neglect, the original footage has been lost.

Original music is by Alan Loucks.

For no reason that I can explain, I have always thought this picture would make a great cover for Atonement.

Looking at this picture now as posted, I think a bit of the left edge needs cropping.

"A good couple is like good music. To be good, it must be female and full of grace and tenderness, but it also must be male and full of strength and will. Then you will have true duende and true saudade."

I've always loved this wedding toast. Chapter 28, "The Battle of Chiriguaná," of Louis de Bernières' The War of Don Emmanuel's Nether Parts

I'm somewhat new to MetaChat, so forgive me if I don't know the ropes, but, shouldn't this most recent Photo Friday thread now be linked to from the masthead? The "Weather" theme Photo Friday is currently up there. Or, do these photo threads not get updated and linked to from the front page every week like that? Just curious...
