A shop in my town has whimsical duct-tape dresses as window display pieces, which always make me think of my own New Wave days, especially the aluminum foil dress I wore everywhere.

I just took my brand-new duct-tape courier bag out for its first test-walk this weekend --- it's the prototype, and I wanted to see how it works out. It looks pretty spiffy, and I learned some minor things I'll need to add or subtract from the next version.

But the duct-tape wallet I made the Fella for his birthday a couple of months ago looks as good as new.

I'm always faintly downcast when I click through A Fully Capitalized Title and find that it is not in fact, Chapter X: In Which Passepartout is Only Too Glad to Get Off with The Loss of His Shoes.

So ... Don't those dresses and outfits look a little ... too good? Was there a class or something? Or maybe I'm just remembering my own high school class.
