Good idea... the more fruit the better, in my book. My mom's a master at the jell-o mold. She makes this red, white, and blue one with strawberries and sourcream, pineapple and blueberries that's to die for. I never did master the fruit-in-jell-o technique myself. More's the pity.

Equally good's my mom's rice pudding -- a thick layer of the most delicious custard on top. Lots of cinnamon. I've never had anything like it anywhere. Since I got fat, she won't make it for me, though. :(

I have never liked fruit in jello, and I have no idea why. I like fruit. I like jello. But if you mix them they suddenly seem mildly revolting. I don't even think it's a texture thing, because food textures don't bother me in any other case that I can think of.
