For the longest time, I heard "hey where did we go? in Brown-Eyed Girl as "hey bearded amigo!"

There was a John Mellencamp song, "I Saw You First" that got high rotation when I was in college. I always heard the line, "She stirred the ice in her glass with her L.A. gun finger". As in, her trigger finger.

This isn't the same thing, but I don't understand why Jim Morrison sings "Break on thoo to the other side". It's annoying enough to ruin the song for me (not that it's one of their best, anyways).
