To be fair, they said "When she grows up," which is still annoying in that "You'll know better when you're older" sort of way.

I still don't get why homebodies and recluses who happen to be famous are expected to hobnob with other famous people.

muddgirl: famous people have to hobnob with eachother since they are only permitted to have sex with eachother, thus guaranteeing the next generation of undeserved acclaim.

Also, when you're surrounded every waking hour by people who never tell you "no," particularly if you're still a kid, then that sense of entitlement does tend to get a bit large. Remember when Madonna was fun?

To be fair, it was their American publicist, Steve Martin of Nasty Little Man, who said this, not Radiohead. Though I would imagine that they agree.
