I accidentally made Zuzu jump into the toilet this evening. It was perfect comic timing -- I lifted the lid just as she tried to bound up on top of it.

It was great.

Have I seen this comment in an earlier life? No, must've been some other version of the same joke, because I think it every time the cat joins me in the bathroom.

He also joins when I shower, these days I have a tub but when I had a walk in shower, he'd sit in the corner watching me shower and occasionally shaking his head as he got some drops on him.

Our cats are bathroom visitors, too. Which is fine until they do the time to stretch while expanding our claws on your bare thighs maneuver.

Mine like to put their eyes right up to the gap between the seat and the base of the toilet and stare* at the goings-on.

All four of my cats do this. Two of them, Oliver and Fanty, almost every time and Mingo and Abigail do it once in a while. Fanty does the staring at the crotch thing. He'll also jump on the counter so he can head bump my shoulder and try to jump into my lap. Oliver likes to get into my pants while they're down around my ankles and make himself at home. Kaylee (the dog) also pops in now and then for a scritch. Crazy beasts.
