Maroc Around the Clock Here are some photos from my trip to Morocco a few weeks ago! They're on Facebook but are viewable by non-members too.
These are gorgeous, mdonley. Absolutely beautiful.

You went to Morocco and today I'm going to The Villages (huge development for 55+). It just doesn't seem right.

they're fab, love the airport entrance detail. The moorish feel of Southern Spanish architecture has always thrilled me, so I guess I need to travle a leetle farther south.

mdonley, if it weren't for you I wouldn't get to see anything awesomely cultural elsewhere on the planet. I really dig your travel posts! It's pretty amazing to see daily surroundings & ornateness. It's like they save the most workmanship & care for worship & life. I don't know a damn thing about Morocco.

I was lucky enough to take an amazing class in college - French Colonial Architecture in North Africa - which lent a lot of the more traditional places I saw a little tinge of resistance to the Western order within the new towns built by the French colonizers. It's a totally fascinating place!
