Something died in our crawl space. [More:]I do not want to go down there to find it but it is starting to stink up the kitchen.

The Spousal Unit cleaned and cleared every surface to make sure it wasn't something overlooked in a nook or cranny.

I hate crawlspaces at the best of times, but going on a corpse hunt is the worst. We live on a greenbelt so the list of potential critter victims is long: squirrels, bunnies (oh noes!), raccoons, opossum, rats, mice, not to mention cats. Probably not dogs, fox, or coyotes as the potential openings are too small.

Crap, crap, crap, crap.
Oh, god. That sucks. Fingers crossed that you can reach the corpses. :-)

I have a feeling we're going to have to send out a search party since we haven't heard back. Taking volunteers now.

Did you locate the source? And, ewww. I remember when my friends were renovating and took down a wall only to find a mummified mouse there. oh, good luck, and i hope it's easily removed!

If it's a mouse it'll quit smelling soon. If it's anything else, you'll have to find it and bag it. Good luck!
