My partner is a fantasy/sci-fi fan from way back, and this was one of the first things he watched (borrowed from a friend) when we got our first DVD player. He got about three or four hours in, I think, before he gave up on it.

@eatdonuts: Agreed. I am so angry w/ myself for not using the "boyfriend" discount when we were still together so I could get it at $5 a DVD, w/o packaging. *sadness*
