It's wacked off. My hair, that is.[More:] I am a bunny who literally changes hair styles with each haircut, more or less -at least I have with the last four or so trips to the stylist. (I have to admit I really like my new short 'do, tho.)(And it helps that my hair grows pretty fast, which gives me more leeway.)

How's about the rest of you? Do you have one style you stick with for years and years and years or do you like to change things up more often?
I had super long hair all through high school and college. Around March of 2007, I decided that I had HAD IT with my waist length hair and went to my hairdresser (who had been dealing with my hair ever since a horrific bleach accident in 9th grade) and told her to make it shorter. She made me a perfect little adorable bob that was short enough to be completely awesome but long enough to leave a little tiny nub that I could yank back into a ponytail holder if necessary.

Which reminds me, I really, really need to make an appointment. But I think I'll wait until the weather warms up a bit.

I change my hair up all the time. I get bored. Grow it out, chop it off, grow it out, chop it off. Right now, I'm growing it out.

My hair changes by itself. I buzz it short, and one month later I look at it and bam! it's big again. It's a constant uphill battle.

I changed my hair from a center part to a part on the left about fifteen years ago. Other than that my hair just changes length between haircuts which are sometimes as much as six months apart.

I've had my hair length anywhere from pixie to mid-back. For several years I kept it at bob length, but the last two years or so it's been long. I'm thinking I may go back to the bob soon.

That's the cool thing with hair - it (almost) always grows back, so have fun with it!

I just got mine cut yesterday! First time in nearly a year. (Not by choice... I just haven't had time since the babby was born). I always get my hair cut in a really boring style though - it has to be able to be put in a pony tail for work so I have wispy bangs that are pushed to the side and shoulder length hair.

Pics or none of this ever happened.

I shaved my head not so long ago. I get bored with hairstyles quickly.

Clippers all the way for me. I tend to keep it short, but it takes so long to grow, I don't need to to much with it.

Cutting your own hair is fun.

Speak for yourself.

#2 clippers all the way, all the time here. When you have as little hair as I do, the shorter it is the less obvious the lack is. I know it's time to get a cut when I notice in the mirror that my hair could use a brush before going to work.

I tend to radically change my hair about every 10 years or so - basically I forget that my hair can't take a perm and get one. Disaster. It was about time this year, so I parted it on the other side first, then cut it to my ears, then a little shorter, and then got a buzzcut by accident.

Fortunately it's growing out, but I was freaked for about a week. I texted a friend who had mercy on me and helped me get drunk later.

10 years ago, frizzy perm in Florida, plus hair color, down to my shoulders
20 years ago, frizzy perm that bleached my hair, right around my ears
30 years ago, long and wavy and pigtails or ponytails.

I've become so indifferent to my hair over the last several years. I decide to stop ever dying it due to pain-in-the-assedness, and I barely ever get it cut. I like doing somewhat radical "No, really, chop it all off" visits from time to time to keep things interesting.

Note to dg: I said almost. ;-P

I still keep promising myself that one day I'll shave my head. Or, more likely, get get it clipped really close because I have no idea what sort of scars are on me noggin.

I get hairstyles and then tend to stick with them for years. I had a bob (usually about chin-length or a little longer) since sometime in the mid-'90s till I finally grew it out a couple of years ago.
