Today is Philip Glass' 72nd birthday.

The man has aged very well, as has his music. It must run in the family; I'm surprised that his nephew Ira is as old as he is.

One of my favorite concerts was seeing Glass and team do the soundtrack to Koyaanisqatsi live while the movie played behind them.
