I was too tired to wash my hair. I put it under a headband and it looks better than it did yesterday. Argh! What were you too tired to do today?

Basically everything except go shopping and cook dinner. I cleaned the fridge, too, but that's it. I'm not doing the dishes and I'm sure as hell not washing my hair.

Later I may open the mail.

I have such a long list of things to do before leaving town this afternoon; I've been working on the list since yesterday. Last night I was too tired to do 80% of it, so most of it carried over to today. I'm too tired to do it today, too, but most of it is stuff that HAS to get done, so it doesn't really matter how tired I am.

I slept until 6:30, which means I missed volleyball this morning. I got up thinking it was 5:30, which is a bit late, actually, to get on my bike and go to the gym, but it was an hour later. . .I'll have to try to work out at lunch but I'll probably be too tired for that. . .

I just rolled out of bed not that long ago (woo, Sunday-Thursday schedule) and should be working on my first 'goal' for my course, but I just feel like going back to bed. (I have managed to take a shower and start my laundry, which is probably all that will get done as far as things on my to-do list are concerned.)

Cook breakfast. It's been a week of late nights, and I just don't care. I got the kids dressed under their blankets and gave them baggies of cereal. I bought an expensive apple pastry with caramel on top and bought an even more expensive coffee. Very glad it's Friday.

I'm sick. I'm too tired to do anything, except what I always do when I'm sick: spend the whole day online reading conspiracy theory forums, look for shoes*, and read about Mulholland Drive.

Yeah, I'm not sure how it became established, but I realized yesterday that this really is my I'm-sick protocol.

*At least this time it's useful: I actually needed to find shoes for my wedding, and I think I did. Doc Martens FTW!
