My favourite quote is this one: "Some 35% of labels listed a different meat species than that actually found in the kebab." Mmmmmmmm.

Huh. Same thing happens in my kitchen.

Deeeeeelish.

Further research indicated that 78.6% of kebabs were purchased by drunk people who didn't much care.

What exactly is a doner kebab?

It seems to be what I'd call a Gyro.

This is bad, misleading scaremongering, masquerading as science. I've never had a kebab that didn't automatically come with a few shreds of lettuce, yet they evaluated these kebabs 'without salad', and, as we all know, adding salad to something makes it healthy.

Quite right crismear. And the article fails to say that for some people (colloquially known as students), the kebab is the only source of non-alcoholic calories.

Dangerous science indeed.

In Germany they are called Döner...

Döner macht schöner!

Mmmm, want. I read these articles, and they make me very hungry.

I could take a doner kebab and a large oreo shake right about now. It's the babby-feeding, I'm starving all day and all night
