Last night, I came home to this.

Tonight, I came home to[More:] greet the nosy neighbor lady, who just couldn't wait to tell me that one of my little chickens has been laying eggs in a pile of dirty towels on the floor of my next-door neighbors' laundry room.

And sure enough, we went over there, and there were the eggs. In a pile of dirty college-boy towels. And there was the chicken, happily scratching around in the college boys' backyard.

Tomorrow I think I'm going to spend the night at work.
Why can't we live the way we want to live? Why won't the chickens come home to roost?

So your neighbors should be thrilled, right? I would be thrilled if my dirty towels suddenly started providing me with eggs. Now the college boys will bond with the chickens and Great Life Lessons will be learned and you can make a sort of feel good 80s movie about it all. See? Win/win. Also, you can trade the eggs for the towels and then the next time the sink breaks, you'll have towels! Yay, towels!

Daily home delivery of fresh eggs with no effort on my part? Where do I sign up?

Yeah, fresh eggs would be a treat. and while you're there, would you just throw that laundry in the washer? Thanks.
