Today I believe that the metaphor of quantum physics is strained and possible flawed. I believe all good in the world can be disturbed by a charismatic viewpoint and the unthinking naivety of the mob. I believe the only truly selfless acts are those we perform in video games.

I also believe that our lies are the only things that keep us sane and the only things to keep our friends and lovers from murdering us.

Today I finally believe all those who told me that eating late at night/just before bed is "bad" for you (I feel very yucky this morning).
I believe that I just might be able to handle six classes this semester instead of my usual 4.
I believe that my crappy mood will get better this season as the days are only going to get longer and warmer. Well. Longer, at least.

Today I believe in feeling sorry for iamkimiam. An allergy to soy is like an allergy to laughing. Soy, especially in its elixir form of 'sauce', is a staple in my diet, the importance of which cannot be overstated. Today, I believe in soy sauce.

And I helped a friend move Saturday. He had dropped the rental van off outside the rental lot fence a year ago; and leaving the Penske as per instructions and full of fuel; some joker had siphoned it dry. So I kept the van Sunday (place was closed) and dropped it off this Monday morning. And... wonder of proper wonders; Penske did *not* charge me for keeping it the extra day until they opened Monday morning. So today my faith in humanity went up a small notch.

today i believe in eye exercises to tighten eyelids. i have an order of lecithin emulsifier in to mix with lanolin to rub on my eye. that's how bad this cold weather has hit me, my eyelids are messed up.
