I can't help but think you've seen this [More:]and if not, it might make you laugh.

Hi! by the way. Haven't forgotten about you all.
As a Canadian, I am on the metric system and have no idea what a quart is. Furthermore, I had to substitute beavers for the salt, and beer for water. The boiling process caused my igloo to melt, leaving me homeless. Two forks.

HAHAHA. I totally cracked up!

Hi tr33!

I for one, am deeply grateful for this recipe, as nothing is worse when entertaining than to have your guests comment about the pot not boiling according to proper ratios.

Seriously, I just spent like five minutes watching water boil - and it was great! I love those tiny, tight little bubble tornadoes that form and begin racing around the bottom of the pan just before it all actually goes into "rolling boil" stage.

(I didn't follow the recipe; I just sort of play it by ear. I use whatever water and heat happens to be on hand, and I probably never boil water the same way twice. People often ask for my technique, but honestly, I just don't know! I'm not trying to keep it secret, really!)
