Nutella Ricotta Dessert [More:]
3/4 cup ricotta cheese
1T plus 1t Nutella spread
1t cocoa powder

Press the ricotta through a sieve twice to create a smoother, creamier texture. Mix with the Nutella and cocoa.

Serve with a sprinkle of chocolate crumbs. Or fresh berries. Or nuts. Or coconut. Makes two wee servings. But you don't need much more.
mmmmh!!

What's great about this is that you can have the stuff on hand to make any time. If I buy or make desserty things, they will be eaten, so I try not to tempt us too much... but when V. is totally jonesing for yummy chocolate goodness, and it's 10 at night and nobody wants to go out in search of ... this would be pretty easy to whip up, seems like.

Tax, it's ready in like 5 minutes, tops. That includes any time you need to grind up some chocolate chips for the garnish. I always make it whenever I have leftover ricotta from baked ziti or lasagna, and I never know what else to do with ricotta.

It's not the kind of dessert you gobble. It requires a slow savoring, and is surprisingly rich.
