Is anybody getting married? I'm not usually much into wedding dresses, but this is beautiful... →[More:]
quite wide, yes - for that nice contrast with the slim bodice - but not as huge as it looks in the sitting photo, where they fluffed for greatest effect, I expect.
somebody we know????? I have guesses. Which I won't say, and you can't make me. No. Not even if you tickle me. Not even if you tickle me more, and ply me with Ardiril-concocted suave manhattans with homemade orange bitters. And then the spanking. My lips are sealed.
Oh shit, there's a secret, and I am not in on it? Can we start a guessing game?
Also, those dresses, especially the first one, are beautiful Taz. Not being much of a wedding dress person myself, I could see myself wearing that first one if I ever got married again. Which I won't. Ever. Me and the mister are joined at the hip for the rest of our livelong days.
TheDonF and I still have three more ceremonies to get through (the one we announced was a civil ceremony and there was no family there), as our family is scattered across the globe. I don't think I'll be so lucky as to get three more dresses though...

Those dresses are beautiful. And I like the poofy skirt. In fact, mine was so big that I was literally afraid it wouldn't fit down the aisle. I turned to my dad and was like, "Crap! Why didn't anyone warn me to measure this?"
The work on that bodice (? It's got sleeves is it called a bodice then?) in the b/w closeup makes me want that part of the dress, with a slim knee length skirt, just for the hell of it. Purdy.
