When you have bass like that you do not need clearly articulated words.

Released exactly 28 years ago today! 1979 - 1980 was such a freaking great time for music.

There was a thread over at some other site awhile back where people were really criticizing Chrissie Hynde pretty harshly. I was shocked, SHOCKED because I didn't know it was possible to dislike Chrissie Hynde. Disagree with, sure. But actively dislike? To consider untalented? I had always thought she was pretty much empirically awesome and any flaws were simply quirks.

You are correct, jrossi. Chrissie is the embodiment of bad-ass awesomeness.

jrossi4r, was that this thread? I was pretty un-nerved too; for me, Chrissie is up there with The Ramones, The Class, Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe as unassailable heroes of the late seventies who brought the Rock-n-roll back to Rock.

Yeah, Chrissie's a hero. Fantastic performer and songwriter. I don't even want to read the thread if it hates on her.

That's the one, octo. I was surprised. I consider her pretty unassailable, too. (Congrats on the Steelers win, BTW.)

Man, I thought Louie, Louie was tough to understand, but I guess only parts of it.
