Yelp is so sketchy. I used to review for them, but not anymore.

Yea, I thought it was pretty lame, whatever the real story happens to be. I think Yelp is going to have a hard time walking the line between keeping their reviewers happy and keeping the reviewed businesses (many of whom pay to advertise with Yelp- conflict of interest much?) happy.

This is why Consumer Reports doesn't accept advertising.

As for the lawsuit: accusing someone of insurance fraud and fraudulent billing practices goes beyond a "customer review" IMO. I hope that guy has some verifiable sources for his accusations. If you're going to be an investigative journalist, you'd better have your ducks in a row.

Creepy.
I use menupages for all my restaurant needs, but I heard that was being taken over by NY Mag and I don't know if that is any less creepy. At least I still see some negative reviews up.
