At a big aquarium called Hakkejima Sea Paradise near Yokohama.

That's a spectacular photo, gomichild! I want that feeling that he has. I approached it last night with a moment of extreme calm and contentment. The prompt for it was looking at a camellia's shiny green leaves and the buds that will soon break out into gorgeous pink flutters encircling yellow nubs.

Great photo gomichild.

Though it is a reminder to me of how time compresses the older you get. It seemed like just yesterday you had the baby, and now he already looks like a little human. Next thing I know he's in college. Sigh. Sometimes it sucks being on the downhill side.

Now you just need to teach him how to say "Whoa!" like Joey on Blossom.

Heee thanks guys.

We've been to aquariums before and he's been all "OOO pretty colours and lights" and at one dolphin show he was spun out (but I think that was more the noise.... which he loved but 100 other babies in the audience did not), but to see a dolphin this close must have made it seem like a whale to him. He wasn't scared he was just "Whoa!" The dolphins in the tunnel are pretty cheeky and we were about the only people there so he got to interact a lot with them. It was pretty cool.
