I saw John Doe this summer...he played an acoustic set and it was pretty boring, and I was bummed. THEN he got The Sadies to join him on stage, plugged his ass in, and was pretty darned great. I'd love to see him again, but only so long as he's bringing ELECTRIC GUITARS!

I'm not, however, anywhere near NYC or likely to attend this show!
