Action Image Exchange! My friend Ange and I, having spent our junior year of college together in England, may be the only people in America who A) know this sketch by heart, and B) find it as screamingly funny now as we did nearly 20 years ago (gulp). →[More:]I managed to track down a Reeves & Mortimer tour video about five years ago, which I eagerly played for my then-boyfriend (while promising him they were comedy geniuses), and I was sorely disappointed (not to mention irritated by the mocking I received from him for my shitty taste in comedy). It seems nothing could top the crazy surreal glory of "Big Night Out"! (Now if only I could get it on DVD in U.S. format.)

Scody, it's really easy to get a cheap player in the states that will play region 2 PAL DVDs (a lot of the Philips ones, for instance). And the Region 2 DVDs are pretty cheap from Amazon UK, especially since they strip off the GST (or VAT or whatever the tax is) when you specify a US shipping address.

Th' wife and I went through a big Vic and Bob craze last year, and absolutely loved this bit. We also had to watch stuff with the captions on at first as it took us a while to get the right ears for their accents, especially on the early stuff like Big Night Out.
