I bought a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe guitar amp, 40 watts of pure tone bliss. With the clean channel turned halfway up, my knees turned to jelly. To hell with Social Security and the insurance company, I'll be dead before they get their acts together. A new laptop on Friday and the remainder goes into a savings account.

I am. That starts New Years Eve-ish. That is also the reason for the new laptop. I can only do so much with this phone browser, so a modern laptop fills the few remaining gaps in my barest minimum gotta-have list. I can still fit everything I own in the trunk of my car with room to spare.
