Seriously. In the middle of applying for jobs last night... blackness.

Well, actually the screen from my iBook broke. It was bound to happen -- it's four years old and has had quite a life, and the casing had been slowly splitting from the screen itself for a month or so.

I just got home from copping an ancient CRT monitor for $5.99 at a thrift store, which is what is making my missive here possible. For this I am thankful. It could be so much worse.

Still, this month sux balls.

You haz my sympathies. I'd walk over (if my foot wasn't broken) and have a drink with you (if I could drink. the painkillers are nice, though).

I'm going a little stir crazy.

Happened to me, too. Lost my job, then broke the screen on my laptop. Laptop has no working video-out (that's how I ended up owning it).
