That's what family lawyers, tongue-in-cheek, call a 'care order' name. You know, when the parents go to register the birth and give the name to the Registrar, there should be the power on hearing the name they've chosen for the child to make a care order there and then, because you know that's how it'll end up a few years down the line.

What a bunch of hatemongers. And who puts a child's full name on a cake anyway? It should say "Happy Birthday Stevie" or whatever. They are so clearly looking for a fight by asking for that whole loathsome name to be written out.

At the freerepublic thread about this...I read a comment that made me chuckle in the face of a pile of awfulness:

"Well, I guess if you’re going to be that extreme a white supremacist, you’ll just have to learn to decorate your own cakes."

I started by googling one of the names, wondering if I was missing something...that's how I got the the freerepublic site. That's all.

It's like that time I tried to be a racist. I moved to the trailer park, and to show my white-supremacist ways, I put a big white garbage bin outside labeled "White Trash" in big letters, but for some reason they beat me up and torched my trailer before I could bring the one for "Colored Trash" out.

I'm usually the first to scoff at the Swedish naming laws (People always ask me "Is that name legal?" Because my name sounds and is spelled much like "Thunder" but it means wish all ye who don't know old norse!) - but that name would be illegal here, and I say, good thing too.

(My name is before the law was passed. I've learned to take the whole "is that legal" thing as compliment as they think I'm approx ten years younger than I am. Wehey!)

Racists will always out themselves, no matter how hard they try to pretend to be human. Surely it can't only be me who sees straight through the pretence of innocence in that article?

Maybe the cake shop should agree to make the cake and, in the form of an apology, throw in a special cake just for the parents. I'm sure there's something that can be put in that cake to take care of the problem.
