My receptionist didn't come in this morning. She had a domestic disput disupt the office last week, andni drove her to the courthouse for a restraining order. She may have left a message, but our voicemail is down. I'm really worried about her.

Oh dear...well, she may have gone to a safer place, but should have called you to let you know. You could call the police and have them buzz by her house to see if she's home. Tell them what you told us.

Okay. We finally got voicemail hobbled but kind of up, and there was a somewhat-intelligible message from her at 6am. She wasn't coming in, and something else about... Tuesday? This week? Expired warranty? We couldn't understand her.

Her husband took her purse with her cell while he was screaming at her last week and she has no other phone. She's not staying at home, I don't know where. I'm still worried. I'm going to call the police tomorrow if I don't hear from here.

She left a message while I was on lunch; she knows my cell by heart, so I think she just doesn't want to talk to me. She is having daycare problems, but should be in W-R-F. She also said she needs to talk to me about her employment with the State. I'm worried that she is going to quit, but feel like there's nothing I can do.

She came in this morning and resigned. She is moving her kids to California away from her husband. I'm happy for her and this hard decision she had to make.

You culd always hire a bunny as a receptionist! Whuffles are always popular.
