I think it's a kind of strategic error some fall into. Some guys will look through the ads and answer selectively, but some guys will just spam every ad in the hope of getting some action.
So, annoyed at all the inappropriate responses, they go for ever-tighter lists of restrictions, not realising that they're actually filtering out everyone except the guys who reply to every single ad...
Actually, I really respect this poster. She says in the last paragraph that she is willing to hear from people who match SOME of these requirements. She's not asking for all.
It's really obvious that she wrote these requirements based on past peeves. I think it's refreshing to see someone put this stuff right out there. Whoever dates her will know her preferences, and perhaps be mindful of them because she came right out at the beginning. No passive aggression in this lady.
Ha! I like this part: -name must not begin with an R, a J, or a B (Js are negotiable; Rs are not. Bs should consider that if they treat a cat nicely, it will respond accordingly; but if you scare it by approaching too fast, of course it will attack)

- wishing someone would take the annoying metal thingy out of the dryer that's making that irritating rhythmic sound
She forgot one also -
The man she's hoping for must not only love cats, but be open to the manic, pleading yowl that can only come from a cat who's trapped with a woman this completely nutbar.
