What's for lunch?→[More:]I went on a cooking binge. I have brussels sprouts roasted with olive oil and shallots, and greek-style spinach rice. Nom.
Pork chop (from the farmers' market, very tasty), new potatoes with butter, sugar snap peas and a carrot (steamed). Muller "Alabama chocolate fudge cake" yoghurt for dessert.
Not amazingly healthy but what the hey. The problem with chops from the farmers' market is that they come with enormous rinds of juicy, tasty, mouth-melting fat attached, and it takes mighty willpower not to just eat it all.
Chips and guacamole, just made and ate with my sister. Now we both have wicked garlic breath.
Waiting for a girl to come over and check out the apartment, then I might have a sandwich.
I hosted a Holiday Open House shindig last night and have leftovers. So far I've had five boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce, peanut M&Ms, two chocolate chip cookies, and a handful of mixed nuts.
Went out for lunch with Mom, a little reluctantly as I'm in the final semester-end do-or-die crunch and I didn't think I could afford the time off. Lunch was eggplant parmesan, pasta, and a salad.
And an hour not spent staring at my computer or digging through research. Very restorative. I can breathe right, and focus my eyes, and everything.
I ate at a vegan restaurant for the first time for lunch. I had a parmigiana rollup and the wife had a hummus one. It was better than I thought and I didn't miss the meat.
