I just got a phone call from my daughter... ...you know, the mother of the Grandbun.→[More:]
She had called earlier saying she was "three days late." Well apparently she couldn't wait till the morning to pee on the stick...

It's positive.

(She had a miscarriage just over a year ago, so I'm not turning cartwheels just yet. But....apparently Grandbun 2.0 just might be in production!)

She's freaking out just a little. But hey, Grandbun is almost 2, and she's young and energetic and in great shape. Like I told her, nothing wrong with being a hot young mom. (unless your last name is Spears, but I digress.)

I just might be a grandma again!!!!!!

(Mrs. Doohickie had 5 miscarriages and two successful pregnancies, so I more than understand the bit about not turning cartwheels.)

:D I applaud your restraint. My mother always hyperventilated whenever she was told of impending mommyhood. It kind of freaked me out the first time because I was "barely pregnant" according to the docs - there was nothing on the sonogram but we had a positive blood test.

I spoke to her briefly this morning. She peed on another stick, still preggo. She cracks me up.

And she has taught the Grandbun...well, put it like this-I could hear him in the background clearly saying the word, "Jealous". Heh. It is so cute....for now...hehehehehh.....
