what badges do you wear on a regular basis? I wear my party badge (it's really pretty), and occasionally Palestine and Stop the War badges. But the party badge nearly all the time.. we're in government and it's really interesting when you get Various Feedback from people!
I had a badge that said (succinctly I thought) "Unfuck the world!", which I wore on my handbag. But it got lost somewhere, alas.

A beautiful bee badge on my bag.

I'm guessing that badge means political button? I wore my "Obama '08" button on my shoulder bag throughout the Fall but nothing now.

I have yet to take my Obama button off my purse

I still proudly wear my Dole/Kemp '96 button. But only to important functions, I'd hate to lose it.

I still have my "I Like Mike" button from '88 somewhere.

I'm disappointed that you all choose to wear the minimum amount of flair.

For awhile I wore a button with small-cased letters: "this is so sudden."

Ironically because nothing in my life is sudden.

The button paradox, a Toronto Cyclists Union button, a little happy octopus, and an "I <3 Tofu" button that replaced the "Herbivore" button which is now on mrs. mendel's bag.

I think that I still have my "US out of North America: Nobody for President in '80" button from Wavy Gravy's write-in campaign to elect "Nobody".

I won't even wear Levi's without tearing off the leather brand patch.

I have a little enamel-inlay Warp Records pin on my bag that I carry to work, but nothing else.

Party til the world obeys! I envision ruling the world in a benevolent partocracy some day.

I had a button on the strap of my messenger bag (back when I wore one) that said:

NOSEY
LITTLE
FUCKER

I prefer to fly under the radar when it comes to politics - declaring a position can make things um, awkward, when your boss or clients have different politics. As for purely aesthetic buttons, they're all the rage here in Portland, but I just stick to occasional wearing my discrete bunny pin on the lapel of my suit jacket.

I have one of each of these:
Terrifying Pertwee
Chococat
Zuiichi cherry logo pin (my prior event)
Happy Bunny
I am EPIC (for MEW convention staff)

This is what happens when you go crazy with a button maker.

I wear no flair and I don't care. I'm not proselytizing for anybody or anything.

It's like the Subaru wagons that have more stickers than paint: more opinions than sense.
