Got links for sites with good OSX tips? Christmas came early this year -- last night I got a new Macbook Pro, my first ever Mac. And may I say, holy shit I love this thing. But I'm a longtime Windows guy and still new to this -- are there any good Mac tips sites out there you'd recommend? What software am I not using but should be?
I like TUAW -- The Unofficial Apple Weblog. And Mac OSX Hints frequently is informative.

I found MacOSX Hints useful when I made the switch back in 2003.

Use Versiontracker.com to find good apps.

Lifehacker (with the mac tag switched on) is useful for me.

Macintouch (the reader reports), Macfixit, and the above-mentioned Versiontracker have been in my bookmarks for years (I got my first Mac in 1987).

Apps to try out: Adium (multi-protocol IM client), Transmit (FTP), Perian (tons of video codecs), Handbrake (DVD->MPEG 4), MacTheRipper (DVD ripper), Delicious Library (very cool media cataloger).

Hi - I asked about Mac software yesterday on Ask MeFi and got a lot of great answers.

Good stuff, guys, thanks. Delicious Library looks shockingly awesome.

Is quicksilver worth it? I've heard it's unstable-ish lately.

I use QS but I'm still on Jaguar where it is stable. I was going to include it in my list because I depend upon it so heavily but left it off because I had heard it was crashy under Leopard and I couldn't find a build that was newer than 2007. It might be worth a try but I didn't want to frustrate you with less than beautiful software.

MenuMeters - I've been using this for years without problems. Hasn't been updated since 2006, but it's 10.5 compatible. The ability to see my network activity makes this a must-have.

I also can't live without Transmit - BBEdit is used very often and a new one called CSS Edit.

For the web creating bunnies amongst us...
