My nephews haven't learned the art of graceful present giving. If it's not a toy, there's much howling. And they're 10. The six-year-old, on the other hand, might love it.

My wife is giving me part of a bison for Christmas. Seriously. Just part of one. I forget the agency she's doing it with but a whole bison was out of her budget.

That kid is pretty wise, actually.

That kid's essay makes me wonder just how much help he got to write it!

I'm going to adopt a koala for my nephew for xmas, because he can a) go visit it at Lone Pine, b) see that there are koalas in his backyard, even if he never looks up and c) recognise that koalas are THE shit and that kid knows nothing of what he writes. They have some sharp claws. man.

But I did always wonder how they survived through really severe storms until I saw it - they just hang on. Those are some really sharp claws, and don't be messing with no koala, you dig?
