A Christmas Gift For You from BoringPostcards: a 21-song Christmas music mix, ranging from rockin' to traditional and back again. You can stream it or d/l the tracks here, or download it in one big ZIP file from here. Ho ho ho!

Also, the ZIP file has an image that you can print to make a CD booklet complete with song listing, if you're so inclined.

And yes, I totally stole the name of this post.

And if you need still more holiday tuneage in your life, here's the last Xmas mix I made, from 2001.

Awesome BP! I'll definitely check this out when I get home tonight. Looking at the tracklist, you have some of my favorite songs in there (Cindi Lauper's "Silent Night" and any Christmas Song with Dean Martin), and a bunch I haven't heard before.

Thanks, BP!

I like the Sufjan Stevens rendition of "O Holy Night". It's a rather heavy song, and it's difficult to make it not sound ponderously religious, but they do a good job!

I don't know who The Stars are BUT I LOVE THIS SONG. BP you have given me a Christmas Miracle!

Cool! Glad y'all like! :)

muddgirl, if this is your first exposure to "Fairytale of New York," you must must must have the original version; the Stars are covering it, and while I like their version, Kirsty MacColl and the Pogues can never be topped.

I'll be uploading my mix sooner or later. Gonna download this and give it a listen tomorrow.

BP - as I'd expect, we share many of the same choices of Christmas mix selections. And of the ones I don't know - they seem like cuts I would use if I had them. This makes me want to make a new holiday mix - I think the last one I made was on cassette!!!

Thanks, BoringPostcards! Any chance we can get the whole 2002 mix as a zip file?

Sure thing, lukemeister... Divshare keeps going down today (grrr, of course it would be today) but next time it's up I'll upload the old mix as a ZIP file.
