I have assured BOP that as long as he learns to sing this song, he will have no trouble becoming a Canadian citizen.
We used to get MuchMusic at work, and it always made my day when they played this song.

Get to the border with Stompin Tom on the stereo and a box of Tim bits on the dash and they won't even bother to check his ID. Just don't smuggle any animals in.

heh jonmc...that's my home right now. I live in the middle of an ongoing Sudbury Saturday night.

I dunno about Stompin' Tom. I always found him too...much.

I love that movie. Shot at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern on Queen Street.
Oh the many a night I've spent there.
But I've always been partial to Bud the Spud or The Ketchup Song.
The Man in the Moon is a Newfie also rocks.

Heh, richat, I thought of you when I saw jon's comment. And if you're not fond of Stompin' Tom, there's always the puck rock version.

Ah, the Horseshoe. I used to live a couple of blocks from there, chococat, and though I spent more time at the Cameron or the Bev or the back room at the Rivoli, I still love to go to the Horseshoe when I'm in town.

Hee. I'll have to get him a Habs jersey and a pack of Export A to make the illusion complete, though, no?

Only in New York ... || A question of major importance.
