I mostly agree with you, elizard, except for this one from that video:

That's spot on.

This is kind of funny, and one must admit it's a wee bit over the top. But ... it could be ... I dunno. Good? Maybe?

Especially 'cause it's funny to see misanthropes -- of any age -- insulting people. It's the sort of thing that makes you say, "I want to get old one day and be insulting, just because I can." Not racist, but insulting. Think of all the things you can't get away with saying now, but could if everyone assumed you were a batty old woman (or man).

And then think of all the really kooky things you could do.

I really don't know if this will be any good but damn I hope I can look that bad assed when/if I'm 78 years old.

The over the top-ness of clint and that old lady spitting combined to make me think this was a comedy.

puke - given that he's producing/directing it, I'd like to think he's having at least a little fun with with the characters. May have to go see this for my birthday.

This outing looks good enough to get me to the theater, which happens less and less often these days due to the drek put on the screens.

Reminds me of recent story of the 70-year-old paratrooper who beat up his would-be muggers. He said it would take more than a little knife to get him. Bet those kids got their asses beat again by the other gang members.

FWIW, Squint's voice is just getting old. Its been getting progressively more gravelly over the years.
