A friend came by and commented that, since they are latex-backed, it would be impossible to find ANYONE who would clean it, once the need arises. The problem being that the latex would react poorly with anything, resulting in either bad smells or inability to dry properly.
The poor underpaid clueless floor people at the Pottery Barn do not know from care or maintenance of anything they sell, so I am asking the wise people here.
Does anyone have any bad experiences with a wool rug with a latex backing?
