oooh, yeah baby! [More:]

I just used key limes (instead of sweet lime, which I didn't have) in the fresh salsa I made.

This is really, really good. I highly recommend it.

The remainder of the bag of key limes will be used to make margaritas. I will now kick back with the mister to drink margs, eat nachos with homemade key-lime salsa and the queso fresca I got from a bodega up the way, and watch porn.
I have never put limes in salsa.

You need to make a key lime pie with those limes!

I have the bestest and easiest recipe:

- 1 ready-made frozen pie shell
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (Carnation is best)
- 1/2 cup key lime juice
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream

- Bake pie shell according to directions. Allow to cool.
- Whisk together the condensed milk and the lime juice and pour into pie shell. Refrigerate until set, about four hours.
- Whip cream with a little bit of sugar and vanilla extract, put on top.

Easy as pie.

What's the difference between key limes and normal limes? I've never heard of Key Limes before...

I have heard of Key Lime pie - but thought that that referred to a place. Hah! I suck!
