I feel for ya .. my hands got so painful at the end too. I used bags of frozen veggies to numb the ache. It's hard ... I remember gearing myself up to roll over in bed, and needing to be helped up off the couch. My bundle of joy weighed 10 pounds. All I can say is, be as self-indulgent as you possibly can for these next couple of weeks. Wishing you relief from the hand/wrist pain (it does go away after the baby comes), lots of chocolate, and of course an easy delivery and a healthy baby!

Aw, Ramix, I thought for sure you had popped already. That hand ache can be a major bitch alright. Like Kangaroo said, indulge yourself, there are very few times in a woman's life that she can command as much imperiousness as she can at the end of her pregnancy.
Can I just offer you one tiny suggestions? Don't name your kid Bronx. Ashley Simpson just took it. You don't want to be a copycat.

hand aches? I didn't have any of that but my feet looked like stuffed bratwurst and could only fit into giant mule-shoes. (I presume they looked like stuffed bratwursts, I hadn't seen them for months).

Get backrubs, feet rubs, lower backrubs, hand rubs and whatever else needs a little rub (hehehe) as much as possible now that you can. Sex is not just fun and games, it actually relieves that ultra-tense-omg-my belly is filled a giant balloon ready to pop through my skin and muscle feeling, even if only for a moment. I treasured that relief.

ramix! I've been watching the internet while you've been gone. You haven't missed much.

Just look down there and say "Kid, if you don't come out RIGHT NOW we're adopting instead!"

OK Ramix, eat the hottest chili or indian food you can take for a few nights! Seriously, the sprog will come out ASAP, all "EWWW! Mom what the hell is that smell!!!"

Seriously though I was 5 days post term, couldn't stand it anymore and that worked! Good luck and wuffles.

I did that, the running up and down stairs, the nookie, the pineapple, the castor oil, the nipple tweaking, the hot shower belly massage, the twenty things I can't think of right now and the only thing I learned was;

Red hot thai chili coconut sauce with pineapple and fried noodles is ossom.

(also, babygirl really liked both red hot thai chili and pineapple a lot the first years, which allowed for some pleasant dinners out while she was still in the baby-chair stage, but now she's in the "that's a little to spicy" phase when it comes to pretty much everything)

Aw, I feel ya, ramix! I was never one of those easy, breezy, glowy pregnant ladies either. That's why it took me five years to get up the nerve to do it a second time. I hope the next 20 days go by fast and that you have a quick and pleasant birth.
