Why I Like My Job Reason #343 →[More:]Some of my co-workers played a game called Spoon Assassin that required a week of diligence from the participants. I won't go into the rules, but we were very impressed that Rick won. I didn't play, but when I saw how it was being played, I knew it needed a trophy, so I suggested that we give out a titanium spork as the trophy. Christina, our office manager/HR goddess one-upped it and got a plaque for mounting the spork.

Why I like my job reason #114:

On Friday, I mentioned the horrifying Hostess Holiday Fruitcake that I saw in the Walgreens in our building. My IT guy said "I'd eat it."

So today I bought one. He ate some. I tried it too. We took pictures.

Then we sliced the rest of it up and put it in the kitchen to see if anyone would eat it. He added a post-it note indicating it was homemade. About half of it was gone by the time I left for the day!
