Good online high end camera retailer? Anyone have experience with a good online camera retailer? I'm looking to buy a new lens and some accessories and would like other options besides my local NYC joints of B&H and JR.

I have bought stuff from Butterfly Photo, used to be in Brooklyn but now they seem to be in NJ. .They have a showroom in their warehouse.

Anyway, I have make two purchases from them and each time it was because they had the lowest price for what I bought, and the service was acceptable, other than being pestered to upgrade.

Adorama is the one a lot of pro photog blogs (including Ken Rockwell) talk about. They're supposed to be one of the most reputable, but I think they're also NYC local.

Why not B&H? I buy camera stuff from there, but I'd like to know if there's a reason I shouldn't.

Coldchef: Just trying to find the best deal. I've purchased three lens through them and I'm trying to branch out. Also, they tend to be closed when I want to go to them.

I broke down and bought what I was looking for through amazon.com. Turns out that was the best deal.
