Carmina Burana improves everything [More:] because it's so hard to take seriously.

wow, eth, the breadcrumb trail of wikipedia scores again! I had never even heard of this guy; turns out he grew up a mile or two from my family farm. Geezus.

Did they have someone sing it with those lyrics, or are the mishearings just that on?

That's just the way it sounds, drezdn, and as someone who's phonetically faked along one too many performances, i appreciate it on at least two levels.
This octopus, let's give him boots.

lfr, i don't know which trail led you to Handel's castrati, but your link led me to a brand recommendation:
…he kicked off by suggesting that viewers vote for Barack Obama, arguing that although Americans were evidently open-minded, since they had permitted “that retarded cowboy fella” to run the world's only superpower, it might be an idea to “let someone else have a go”.

Also, i like how that Ballot Box Bunny clip highlights he censored end.

I was in a band for some time with a totally baked drummer who would at every opportunity tell me enthusiastically about how he was going to be singing Carmen Burina in the university chorus.

As if there weren't sufficient intrinsic reasons to dislike that... thing.
